Getting my act into gear

This whole blogging thing has never seemed easy to me...I really struggle to come up with anything to blog. When I have time and I actually think, 'Hey Mel, you could post a blog' I sit there for ages and go blank. I've been looking at photos since I've been on holidays and I've been a little bit inspired to post some blogs...only prob is I want to simply add tonnes of photos from ages ago because right now I am really boring have next to no social life - thus not much to blog about.
I noticed the Tag Dag thingy on Collette's blog and thought I'd give it a go. It was really fun, and I loved reading Collettie's.

Married Life

Hi All!

I'm sitting at home alone on a stinking hot Saturday whilst Pete's at work...Plus I just discovered our air con isn't working!!
What a great time to muck around on the computer I thought! So here I am starting a blog.

We've been married for 97 days (according to my facebook page). Our wedding was beautiful and married life is awesome. We are living in a great unit right next door to our chapel in Christies Beach. The actual address is Hackham West, but who wants to say they live in that suburb! he he...

Pete has just started back at uni doing his 3rd year of Telecommunications/Japanese, and still working at Coles. I have my first job as a high-school teacher at a school called Pulteney Grammar. Right in the city of Adelaide. Its a gorgeous Private school and I love my job heaps. I teach across 3 faculties from years 8-10. Mostly English, SOSE with one class of Japanese, and Australian studies.

Pete is still in young men's and I'm serving in Young women's and am the ward pianist. I'm not the most skilled pianist so I find this calling challenging but am being blessed heaps.
